Coby portable DVD players are designed for watching movies, programs and listening to music on the go. It’s frustrating to settle in for a good film during a long flight only to have something go wrong. Often the problems can be swiftly addressed. Check the power supply. If your Coby stopped working while running on batteries, plug the player into a power outlet at home or in your car. If the device then works, replace the batteries. If it still doesn’t work, make sure the power jacks are securely connected. Try a different DVD in your player. What at first seems like a problem with the device may in fact be a dirty DVD.
