Ticks are expanding in number and causing more people to become infected. Lyme disease causes symptoms that start off as feeling like you have the flu, headache, stiff neck, fever, body aches, and lastly fatigue. A rash can develop either days after the bite or it can surface a month later. The rash usually starts out as a small reddish raised bump but it can also spread out with a flesh colored center. It can enlarge and spread over a person’s back or it can just be the size of a thumb print. Ticks are pesky little trouble makers if not removed from your dogs skin.
