How Do You Treat Sore Muscles With A Relaxing Bath?
Muscle soreness is never fun, whether it’s a result of a hard day’s work, a grueling workout, or a favorite hobby. There is a way to help ease the burn however, and it’s almost as simple as turning on a faucet. Start with a clean tub. If you’re too sore to give it a good scrub, then at least wipe everything down with a wet cloth first. Get a freshly laundered towel (or two) ready for when you get out of the bath. You don’t want to have to walk around dripping wet later looking for one. If you have long hair, pull it up so it won’t be resting on your shoulders during your bath. Run a hot bath, and add two cups of epsom salts to the bath water while the tub is filling. If you have lavender oil, then go ahead and add some at this time. Lavender is known to be relaxing and should help put you and your sore muscles at ease. Once the tub is full, take a hand towel into the bath with you and get it wet. Then roll it and wrap the towel around the back of your neck. Lay back and enjoy your soak
