How do you treat cracks in the concrete prior to the Decorcrete application?
A. Cracks are ground out with a cup grinder to produce a V. A two-part epoxy system is then introduced into the crack, which will re-bond the crack. The crack is usually caused by stress in the area. It may be necessary to saw-cut a control joint adjacent to the repair to allow for cracking in a predictable straight line.
