How Do You Treat Amebiasis?
Amebiasis is a parasitic infection by any amoeba, although the term commonly refers to infections of Entamoeba histolytica. Amebiasis is transmitted in cyst form by a fecal-oral route and humans are the only natural hosts. The trophozoites inhabit the large intestines and are passed in the feces.
