use copper sulfate you must be very carefull though if you use the incorrect ppm(parts per million) you will kill every thing and the fish will have nothing to eat. Yor first step is to figure out what kind of algea you have there are lots of kinds then get the copper sulfate and find the kind of algea you have on the bag and it will tell you the ppm for that kind then you figure how many gallons of water you have inthe pond . I cant tell you the exact equation it will be onthe bag (6 acres 10 ft deep im thinking close to 50lbs._) You will have to find a farm feed store like co-op-Tractor supply.
