How Do You Treat A Serious Burn?
• Remove all clothing from the burned area that is not stuck to the skin. • Cool the burned area with cool water (don’t use ice, as it could cause damage to the remaining tissue, and create more pain!). • Cover the burn with a clean, dry bandage. • Keep warm. • Remove all jewelery, watches, belts etc. • Do not break any blisters that appear. • Do not use creams or butter.
