How Do You Transfer Pictures To Photoshop Elements From A File Without Losing Size Or Resolution (In A Macintosh)?

A couple of things: iPhoto saves two versions of every photo- a “thumbnail” and the original file. Sounds like you might be getting the thumbnail version of the file which tends to be about 60kb. From iPhoto you can drag your pictures right onto your desktop and they will be saved in the original format/size. You can then open the file with Photoshop Elements and have a full-size image to work with. It’s pretty fast and easy and you can do multiple files at a time. For instance, on my desktop I have a folder called “Send to Costco”. I highlight the photos I want in iPhoto,(option-click to select non-sequential photos) drag the whole lot to the “Send to Costco” folder and they’re all together in one place with the original resolution ready to go. Good luck!
