You can transfer a design from a piece of fabric to paper in several ways. If you are artistic and the design is relatively simple, you can copy the design by hand or you could trace the design using tracing paper. However, these techniques do not give you an exact replica of the design. A great way to transfer a design from fabric to paper is by using a scanner, computer and imaging software. The benefit of this method is that you get an exact copy of the design. Another benefit is that the digital file can be manipulated and edited before you print it on paper. Spray the fabric with starch and iron it well. Turn the fabric over and spray more starch, then iron. Continue to spray and iron both sides until the piece of fabric is perfectly wrinkle-free.
