This is especially true if you have more than one AVI file that you want to burn as a single sequence onto the DVD. Premiere and its companion program, Encore, make the task relatively straightforward. Load the AVI files you want to transfer to DVD onto your computer, saving them to a single folder. Open Premiere Pro. In the dialog that pops up, you are given the choice of opening an existing project or starting a new one. Elect to start a new project and name it. Click “OK.” Select “File” and click “Import.” In the dialog that opens, go to the folder you saved the AVI files to. Hold down the “CTRL” key and select all of the files you want to import.
