If you have an American Express Card and qualify for Membership Rewards, you can accumulate points by using the card. Points can be redeemed for a number of goods and services, including frequent flier miles. Continental Airlines is one of the partners in the Membership Rewards Program, and transferring your points into frequent flier miles is a relatively simple process. Link your Continental frequent flier account number to American Express. To do this, you must call the Membership Rewards number (800) 299-1997 and ask to have your Continental account linked to your “Traveler Option.” Once you have linked the two accounts, you are ready to begin transferring points into miles.
