How Do You Train For The Police Academy?
If you want to be a police officer you will have to go through a great deal of testing and training to pass the academy and get your certification. The police academy involves a lot of classwork and a lot of physical training to increase your stamina, make you a better runner and train you in combat skills in addition to the obvious shooting skills. To be sure you can do your best in the academy you should begin training early. Start eating more healthful foods. Fill your diet with lots of fruit, vegetables and lean meats. Drink at least six to eight cups of water a day. Avoid carbonated beverages, sugar-filled foods and drinks and all processed foods. This may throw your system off a bit at first but it will even out with time. Start running. Run 1 1/2 miles every day. Vary the course so that you have to run flat land, hills and more.
