How Do You Train For An Olympic-Distance Triathlon?
A triathlon is an event where athletes participate in three sports consecutively–swimming, biking and running. An Olympic-distance triathlon consists of a 1.5-kilometer swim, a 40-kilometer bike ride and a 6-kilometer run. The Olympic distance is also known as an international-distance, standard-course or short-course triathlon. Complete a sprint triathlon. This gives a good starting point for the Olympic distance.
