How Do You Train A Strong Magikarp (D/P/P)?
• Equip Magikarp with exp. share. If you don’t have an exp. share, switch it to the front of your party instead. • Go to an area with tall grass or other places to find wild Pokemon, and wander there until you are in a battle with one. • If you switched the Magikarp to the front of your party, switch in your strongest Pokemon on the first turn. If magikarp has exp. share, you don’t need to do this. Either way, you then defeat the wild Pokemon. • Repeat this until Magikarp gains enough levels to learn all the moves a Magikarp can. Then, repeat it until it gains enough levels to hold up sufficiently in battle. You can also use rare candies and stat boosters to increase its strength. Take the exp. share off of Magikarp after it’s reached enough levels. Once you do this, you can replace it with one of these three useful items. Quick claw, so it can sometimes get to go first over a Pokemon that is faster, Silk Scarf to increase the power of its normal type moves, or a Shell Bell to restore
