How do you train a Minature Italian Greyhound?

0

What’s a ‘miniature’ Italian Greyhound? I’ve heard of Italian Greyhounds, but not miniatures. (that’s because there is no miniature) IGs are hard to house train, if you haven’t already, you should crate train him until he gets the idea. At night, crate him. In the morning take him out and stay out with him for 3-5 mins, if he doesn’t go, bring him back in the house and crate him for about 30 mins, then take him back outside. He will eventually have to go outside if you keep repeating this. Make sure that the crate is small enough for him so that if he messes inside he will not be able to get away from his mess and it will be an unpleasant experience. If he does mess in his kennel you want to make him sit in his mess for about 30 mins, then take him out again and clean him up, or whatever. After he’s gone in the morning, feed him, and then take him out. Repeat the above process until he goes. Then you can bring him in the house and let him run around -but you have to keep an eye on him!
