How do you train a kitten to bury their waste in the litter box? Can it be done?
Kittens don’t bury their deposits when they are young. Soon he will be digging holes big anough to bury himself (and probably miss the hole with the first few attempts), then make a mountain of kitty litter on his deposit to make sure it is buried properly. Once he is a little older with more experience he will get this right. I heard that the reason cats do bury their deposits is so animals that have a taste for cat can’t track them.
