• When your dwarf is in its cage, open the door and call its name while holding something tasty, say a small piece of carrot. • Wait until it comes, give it the treat (be careful not to use large pieces of carrot, as dwarf hamsters can develop diabetes from too much sugar) • Keep repeating the above steps until you no longer need the treat to lure it out. • If it tries to bite you, try putting some gloves on, that way if it bites you it will not hurt and eventually it will trust you and you can take the gloves off! Remember to handle your dwarf hamster every day to ensure the trust between you and your pet and to keep your pet stimulated and healthy!
