How Do You Tow A 2003 Honda Pilot?
The vehicle that will be hauling the tow trailer and the Honda Pilot must have all of the correct connections to safely tow. The Honda Pilot is a small SUV-type vehicle with a 4-cylinder engine. The rear axle and the front, lower control arms are what you secure the restraining straps to. This must be done correctly to ensure proper safety laws and to keep everyone safe. Connect the tow trailer to the rear trailer hitch on the tow vehicle. Connect the brake connections and test the brakes. Locate all of the anchor points on the floor of the tow trailer that will be used to secure the Honda Pilot. Drive the Honda Pilot onto the trainer. Park the Honda Pilot in the center of the trailer for balance. Connect one of the restraining chains to the front, right floor anchor point by the hook. Lead the opposite end of that restraining chain to the front right lower control arm and connect the hook to the lower control arm. Pull down on the metal handle to lock the chain.
