How Do You Tour Choate Rosemary Hall?
Choate Rosemary Hall is located in Wallingford, Connecticut, only two hours from Boston or New York. Founded in 1890 as the Choate School for boys, the school merged with Rosemary Hall for girls in 1973. The boarding school has 450 acres and educates students of all races and religions from 19 countries and 44 states. Step into the Andrew Mellon Library, a gift from the former Treasury Secretary. A second generation Mellon, Paul Mellon, donated a new wing to the library in 1963. The Andrew Mellon Library has an extensive collection of items and was refurbished in 2002. The Special Collections section includes documents belonging to Adlai Stevenson and John F. Kennedy, along with a rare book and autograph collection. View the Carl C.
