How Do You Tie-Dye Black Clothing With Bleach?
If you like the look of tie-dye, but you don’t want to bother going out and buying dyes, there’s an easy alternative: Use bleach to discharge color instead! All it takes is black clothing made from natural fibers, regular household bleach, some rubber bands and your imagination. With a little creativity, you can produce all kinds of different effects, from spirals to stripes to random crinkles. Choose the clothing you want to bleach. For your first attempt, you may want to bleach an old garment that won’t be missed if it turns out badly. There’s always an element of randomness in the bleach tie-dye process!
