How Do You Throw Wiffleball Pitches?
Here are some nice wiffleball pitches that I like to throw. • Diving Curve- Hold the ball loosely with your index, middle, and thumb with the holes facing up. Throw not too fast but not to slow 3/4. It should start dropping and then dive right into the strike zone. To get more action snap or flick your wrist when you release the ball. • Cutter- Hold the ball like a diving curve but grip it a little tighter. Throw hard sidearm. Turn your wrist around when you throw so the holes face out. It should go behind the batter then run toward the outside corner. • Tailing Fastball- Hold the ball like you would a fastball but with the holes facing out. Make your wind-up a bit faster than usual. Release the ball full submarine and snap your wrist. It should tail way outside to a righty then run straight toward the middle. • Giant Curveball- Take your middle finger and thumb and put them on the holes, which are on the bottom for this pitch.
