How Do You Throw A Simple, Yet Adorable Tea Party, Birthday Party?
If you would like to throw a Tea Party (birthday party) for a special little girl without it costing a ton of cash or becoming a huge ordeal, then here are some ideas that worked for me: The guests were asked to come dressed in their most fancy, frilly, lacey dresses. (Gloves and Jewelry, etc…) I purchased straw hats, various clearanced rolls of ribbon, hot glue for my glue gun, white paper streamers, and Artificial flowers (mostly daisies)from the local craft store. I gathered all of my doilies (passed down from relatives) and white lacey tabel clothes. Doilies were covering ever table top in our home! The Dining table was LAYERED in table cloths and doilies. Above the table I streamed the paper streamers from the center of the room toward the walls, in a circular pattern, and left the ends hanging in the center of the design (at slightly different lengths).
