How Do You Throw A Roundhouse Kick?

0

The kicks in martial arts and kickboxing are also very popular with the roundhouse kick being the most thrown kick. The first time I threw a round house kick my high version was at barely knee high but with practice your kicks will get higher. The roundhouse kick is in fact divided in low, medium and high kick. Get in your fighting stance with either your left or right foot forward and make sure that your arms are in front of your face to protect it. Turn your torso and hip and your foot rising a bit from the ground but make sure not to lose balance. As your kick is in the air for more power bring your left arm down but keep the right one in defense position, also make sure that your left arm comes back up. Your kick should reach your opponent with the front part of your shin, and never over extend your leg.
