When you throw wine tasting parties make the wine the star of the occasion. There is a difference between a wine tasting party and a party or dinner that just happens to have a couple of bottles of wine involved. First decide how small or big of an event you would like to have. The size of your venue, whether it be your residence or a big rented location will determine how much wine you need. Ideally it is good to have enough people there so it feels like a worthwhile occasion. But you don’t want so many people crammed together that they feel like they are at a wine tasting mosh pit.
