How Do You Throw A Glamorous Oscar Party?
You can throw a glamorous Oscar Party to rival the stars. Why should they have all the fun? Invite your favorite movie fans over for a night of glamour, regalia and glitz! MAKE INVITATIONS: Make simple, yet elegant invitations. Buy some black paper at a craft store, and a Gold Paint pen. Cut the paper into 3″ x 6″ pieces and fold in half crosswise. On the front write, “And the Oscar Goes To…” On the inside say, “Come and find out who will get the Oscar this year…Date, Time, Place…What to Bring…What to Wear”. Include a voting card (next step) so that everyone can come with their picks already made. MAKE VOTING CARD: Make up cards, either by hand or on the computer. List the main categories for Oscars and the nominees in each category. Ask your guests to pick the person they think the Oscar should go to. Have them bring their cards the night of the party.
