How Do You Throw A Flying Disc?
Tossing a flying disc is not necessarily a “grip it and rip it” activity. You need to account for balance, angle and touch before you let go of the disc. Hold the flying disc parallel to the ground. Curl your pinkie, ring and middle fingers under the inside edge of the flying disc. Place your index finger on the outside edge and your thumb on top of the disc. Stand with your shoulders pointing 90 degrees away from your target. Pull the disc across your body toward your nonthrowing shoulder. Take one step toward your target. Bring your throwing arm across your body. Snap your elbow and wrist just before you release the disc. Release the disc when your hand is in between your shoulders.
