How Do You Throw A Flying Disc Backhand?

0

This is the throw to know. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing ultimate, practicing disc golf or tossing the disc at a barbecue, a backhand toss is key. Grab the disc with your thumb on top, your index finger on the inside edge and your three remaining fingers extended underneath the disc. Hold the disc parallel to the ground. Point your feet perpendicular to your target. Bring your throwing arm across your body until the disc is near your nonthrowing shoulder. Imagine the motion of your arm to be whip-like. Begin the throw with your shoulder leading. Straighten your elbow. Release the disc with a snap of your wrist when it’s directly in front of you.
