How Do You Throw A Fade In Flying Disc Golf?

When obstacles prevent you from unleashing a straight throw, a fade, which curves from left to right for a right-hander, works wonders in getting your disc to the pin. Grip the disc as you would to throw a backhand toss. Keep your feet perpendicular to your target. Bring your throwing arm across your body. Tilt your wrist down so the disc rests at an angle of 15-30 degrees away from your hand. Hold the disc close to your waist. Raise your throwing shoulder several inches above your nonthrowing shoulder. Throw the disc in a down-to-up motion. Your hand should finish the throw above your eye level. Lean back a bit at your waist as you release the disc.
