Many fast pitch softball pitchers are afraid to use the change up pitch, but when mastered, it can be one of the most effective tricks to catch your batter off guard and get that third strike. A change up pitch requires practice, but once you have it down, you will be a star on the field. Prepare yourself mentally for the pitch.
