Threading a bead loom is relatively easy. Threading or “warping” deals with the vertical strings on a loom that will hold the beads. This is true for any loom, whether for beading, making rugs or tapestries or even weaving material. Keeping the tension tight and the threads at the proper spacing allows the design to form and be functional. Plan your design first. Without this plan, you will be unable to thread your loom properly. Decide how wide and long your project will be and measure the thread accordingly. Allow an additional 6 inches at the top and bottom of your thread for tightening on the loom. Cut one additional thread the same length. Bunch the threads together and knot one end.
