How Do You Test The Mind Body Connection?
This is a quick and easy test to illustrate how your thoughts have an impact on your body and ultimately your health. Grab a partner and try this mind body test! Stand in a relaxed position, breathe easily and clear your mind. Raise your arm to shoulder height, perpendicular to your body. Have your partner place two fingers of each hand on your forearm and push down firmly while you try to resist your partner’s pressure. This will give you a resistance baseline. Lower your arm, relax. Now think of something or someone that really irritates you. Immerse yourself in the emotion. Raise your arm as before and have your partner push down on your arm. Did you find that your arm was weakened and unable to resist the pressure your partner exerted? Lower your arm again, clear your mind and relax.
