How do you test a 4×4 vehicle if there is no snow or mud?
The easiest way is to wait until it rains or find a dirt or gravel road. The main concern when testing is giving the tires a means to slip or lose grip as not to damage the gearing. Any wet or loose surface will provide this. You could also jack the vehicle up, but getting all 4 wheels off the ground is more trouble than it’s worth. Rainfall is only a few days away, and there are always housing construction sites that can prvide a loose dirt road to drive on.
