How Do You Temporarily Repair A Smearing Windshield Wiper?

In a driving rain one day he noticed that his windshield wipers were smearing, not cleaning. Unfortunately there was no service station within miles and he was worried about driving any further. He did what he could and was able to drive to the next available gas station. Here’s how he did it. Step 1 First of all, make sure you carry an emergency tool kit in the trunk of your car. The kit should contain a pair of pliers, Philips and flathead screwdrivers, heavyweight duct tape, assorted screws, rubber washers, a flashlight, a coat hanger, a small roll of wire, and a pair of vise-grips.
