How Do You Temporarily Fix Cracked Window Glass With Duct Tape?
Here’s how to temporarily fix a cracked glass window with duct tape while waiting for a replacement pane. Cut strips of duct tape and center them over the cracks on the outside of the window. Cut a new piece every time the crack makes a turn and align it with the direction of the crack in the glass. If there is a hole in a window, use multiple strips of duct tape, horizontally placed one over another to cover the hole. Once the front side has been taped, repeat the process on the other side of the glass. Replace the window as soon as possible.
