How do you tell what gender is my black rock scorpion?

A scorpions gender is basically based on their Pectines, which are two comb looking objects on the scorpions underside which are used to sense vibrations in some cases as well as reproduce, in most species the male has more dominant pectines, and the female does not, also their Chela or Claws sometimes have distinct formations depending on the gender, find out what species your scorpion is, Then look at the pectines, if you have another specimen to compare with, it will be much easier, otherwise I’d suggest searching for pictures of that species pectines and Male Chela formations, also in some rare incidents I’ve seen females and males differing in color, and tail length as well, so it depends on the species sometimes, hope this helps, Good luck.
