How Do You Tell If People Think Im Delusional?
It’s pretty hard to be able to tell if you are delusional or not. When we suffer from delusions, we REALLY believe what we are saying. For instance: I have worked in admitting at a mental hospital for a couple of decades. I can’t tell you how often I’ve admitted Jesus Christ or the Virgin Mary. I’ve admitted people who actually believe that they are magnetic and that metal things stick to them. I have admitted people who think they are getting messages from beyond the grave and dead people are talking to them….kind of like the movie The Sixth Sense. I’ve admitted people who think they are religious prophets and can predict the future and that Jesus or other saints appear to them and speak to them. But all these people had one serious thing in common…..NONE of them believed they were delusional. They all believed they were sincere and never doubted themselves as you are doing now.
