How Do You Teach Young Children To Enjoy Flying?
For some people with young children flying can be a disaster, but there are ways to teach young children to enjoy flying on long or short trips. If you like flying, your children will often follow your lead. With a positive attitude and positive reinforcement for the child, you are off to a good start. Let the child see your excitement and enthusiasm about flying and they will feel safe and secure. Before you take a trip, talk to your child about it. Even very young children will understand some concepts. When you see or hear an airplane, show your child and joyfully talk about the upcoming trip. Try to explain that soon your child will be up there too, looking at the clouds from a big airplane. Flying regularly from a young age helps too.
