No matter the age of the learner, a person must begin with the basics to grasp the English vocabulary. That means starting with the alphabet, which is the building block of the language. Once a student learns the alphabet, keeping it requires regular practice. Gauge your students’ abilities so you know where to start. Younger children will obviously have limited experience with the English vocabulary. Adult students might come to you with some prior knowledge, though.
