The entire class gets involved in this fast paced game and everyone gets great math practice in multiplaction. Remove the jokers and shuffle a deck of cards. Two players stand in front of the class, back to back. The teacher shows the class one card and places it on the forehead of one player. The teacher shows the class a second card and places it on the forehead of the second player. When the teacher says, “What’s the answer?” the students in the class say the answer to the multiplication problem created by the two cards. When the teacher says, “Showdown,” the two players turn around and face each other. They can see the other person’s card, but not their own.
