PowerPoint is a program that that is usually used for presentations, but can also be used for a game. Trivia games can be created using PowerPoint, as each slide can advance the trivia game. You can teach students to create their own PowerPoint trivia games, and then the class can play the games to learn, review or practice for a test. Divide students into groups of three or four, and assign a theme or topic to each group. Give each group of students a computer with PowerPoint on it. Turn on your own projector and computer and lead the entire class through a general lesson on PowerPoint. Teach students how to begin a new document. Show students how to type on the slides to create a card they can read. Give students Information on how to color the background of the slides to look like they’d like them to look, or to install a theme for all of their slides.
