Young hearts and minds are easily influenced and are like compressed sponges waiting to soak up pools of information. Introducing diversity in these elementary stages is key to having a child that is socially adjusted in an ever-changing world. Encourage children to ask questions. Curiosity is natural at these stages and should children should be encouraged to be as curious as they wish. Avoid over-correcting children for comments and questions that are not politically correct. It is normal for them to be somewhat ignorant of things that may offend.
