Autistic students have difficulty with socialization and communication. Teaching an autistic student requires teaching strategies and proper classroom management to assist the student in learning. With the right techniques teachers, parents and counselors can break the communication barrier and open the student up to a whole world of educational and social opportunities. Autistic students are no longer only confined to special education classrooms. Today, we now know that effective teaching of autistic students can be done in an inclusive classroom setting.
