Teaching a child to read can be a fascinating and sometimes trying experience. The most important thing to remember as the adult is that learning to read, even the simplest of words, needs to be a fun and successful event in a child’s life. So be patient, introduce new words slowly. Most importantly, be sure to celebrate the success.
