How Do You Teach 33 Mo Old With Language Delay?

0

Boys are generally slower language developers, and actually can take up till they are 3 years old to catch up. I really wouldn’t worry too much. But, if you have evidence that he is unlikely to catch up on his own, there are speech therapists you can work with to help him along. My friends brother was a late speaker, and developed proper language skill when he was almost 4! My son is two and is nowhere near speaking. Please don’t worry yourself about it. Talk to a speech therapist, and get some professional advice. They may even suggest that you wait it out, and just try to speak in full sentences to him slowly, and see if he can pick up on what you’re saying. All children differ, it’s just a matter of time.
