How Do You Take The CLEP Exam?
The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams offer adult students the opportunity to complete their college degrees faster by getting credit for what they already know. Here’s how to make the most of the CLEP experience. Choose the tests you will take. There are 34 exams in two categories: general and subject. Although there is no limit to the number of tests you may take, most schools do limit the amount of credit they will award through CLEP. Find out when and where the CLEP exams are being offered. Each college sets its own testing schedule, which you can find out through the registrar’s office. Register through your college test center. Each CLEP exam costs $44, plus a $10 test center administration fee. Plan your strategy.
