How to Take the AP Chemistry Exam Tuesday May 5, 2009 If you’re in an AP Chemistry class then you’re facing the AP Chemistry Exam. I can tell from my e-mail inbox that panic has started to set in, so let’s talk about strategies for taking the test. First, it’s not too late to learn something that might help you. You can review the list of AP chemistry topics, visit the College Board for advice, or pick up a copy of one of the AP reviews. The Princeton Review “Cracking the AP Chemistry Exam” and CliffsAP “AP Chemistry” are both good choices, though I suspect any of the reviews will be good. Try to get a good night’s sleep before taking the test, eat breakfast, don’t forget pencils/eraser/calculator/watch, and arrive at the test center early enough to relax. When you get the test, go through it and answer the easy questions first
