If you’ve thought about taking pictures of fireworks, but didn’t have a tripod–you don’t need one. Learn how. Your camera should have a mode that lets you change exposure time. The two modes that let me do this on my camera are “Manual” and “Shutter Priority.” Once in this mode, you’ll be able to adjust the exposure time. In my case, I just had to rotate a dial to “M” and adjust using the up and down arrows.
