How Do You Take Apart The Xbox 360 Wireless Headset?
Rechargeable batteries located within a wireless Xbox 360 headset no longer will charge after a full year of use. As a result, the battery must be replaced in the headset–but the unit must be opened properly to prevent damage. Opening the device properly can give users access to the damaged microchips, the battery or for to explore what’s inside it. Pull on the rubber earpiece where it connects to the wireless Xbox 360 headset. Pulling on these two spots will disconnect it from the device. Unscrew the two screws located where the rubber earpiece is connected to the device. Disconnect the microphone receiver from the speaker. The two parts will reconnect just as easily as it was removed. The receiver is the object protruding from the headset. The speaker is the larger part of the headset that goes against the user’s ear.
