How Do You Take Apart Bauer Roller Hockey Skates?
It’s an inevitability of playing roller hockey that your skates will take some damage and may be in need of repair. While skate maintenance to your Bauer skates may only be relegated to fixing the occasional busted bearing or worn wheel, sometimes the chassis or boot needs fixing to be replaced entirely. In those cases, you’ll need to take the skate apart. Insert the Allen wrench into the front wheel axle of either Bauer roller hockey skate and loosen, then remove the wheel and axle and set aside. Repeat for each wheel on each skate, and if desired, insert the bearing-removal tool into each side of each wheel and pull out each bearing. Discard or reapply bearing lube/cleaner if to the bearings if desired. Use the rivet-removal tool on the rivets on the underside of each skate where the chassis meets the boot. If needed, use the pliers on help pull the rivets free once the tool has loosened them well enough to remove, but do not use excessive force or you risk damaging the both the rive
