How Do You Take Apart A Motorola Razr?
If you’d like to replace your Razr’s keypad, upgrade or modify the SIM card, or fix the battery cover, you will need to disassemble your phone. The good news is that you can open the Razr yourself with just a few tools without scratching the paint or damaging the hardware. Turn the phone over to the back. Take off the door to the battery using a flathead screwdriver or a small plastic card like an SIM card or credit card. Locate the internal SIM card. It should be under a clip on the right side. Pull the card out gently from the top. Use the screwdriver to remove the two silver screws on either side of the phone. Pull the bottom frame of the Razr off gently. You can use the credit card or SIM card for leverage to push the frame ajar so it can be more easily removed. Pull on the bottom of the phone.
